Muhammad Lokman Hossain is a post-graduate in Sociology from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He has also studied Community-Based Microfinance (CBMF) at the Coady International Institute, Canada. He has significant experience in microfinance sector (both community-based and institutional). Currently he manages a numbers of development projects at CLP including Social Development, Social Protection, Village Savings & Loan, Health, Nutrition and WASH. He has previously worked in the areas of project design and evaluation, NGO-MFI policy development & capacity building, MF product design & piloting, research and consultancy. His main area of interest is extreme poverty reduction through social development, social capital formation, health and nutrition intervention, microfinance, research and innovations.
