Markets and Livelihoods Unit Manager

Mohammad Muktadir Hossain is CLP’s Livelihoods Unit Manager. He has gained extensive project management experience through working on livelihoods and environmental development initiatives at home and abroad and is particularly interested in the development and analysis of livelihoods, environmental, climate change and safety net programmes within both national and international contexts. Before joining CLP, he coordinated BRAC’s Agricultural Development Programme in Afghanistan. He has also gained significant experience with UN agencies and worked for the World Bank, the Provincial Reconstruction Team of NATO’s allied military forces and other international donors and governmental counterparts implementing relief, rehabilitation, emergency response, alternative livelihoods and environmental development projects in Afghanistan. Muktadir holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Forestry.
