Dr. Md. Abdul Ahad Talukder
Dr. Md. Abdul Ahad Talukder joined the CLP as our Health Coordinator in March 2014. He has over twenty two years of work experience in a diverse range of fields including maternal and child health care, essential new born care, EPI, Tuberculosis control program, management of health clinics, food security, nutrition and WASH, Health and Nutrition Education Program. Before joining the CLP, he worked as a Technical Manager-Health, Hygiene and Nutrition for the USAID funded “Strengthening Household Ability to Respond to Development Opportunities (SHOUHARDO)”, act as a Program Manager and Senior Medical Officer with the Hope Foundation for Women & Children of Bangladesh, Senior Program Officer-MCHN, USAID funded “Jibon-O-Jibika Program” under Save the Children-USA, Quality Assurance Specialist-TB under GFATM funded and Senior Medical Officer under DFID funded Reproductive Health & Disease Control (RHDC) Program under the BRAC Health Program. His primary areas of expertise are project planning, program operation and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, training, primary health care & family planning, nutrition, WASH and Hygiene promotion etc.
Dr. Abdul Ahad obtained his MBBS degree under the University of Dhaka. He then studied for a Masters in Public Health from NIPSOM under the University of Dhaka in 2006 along with an MBA in Health Care Management in 2012 from the State University of Bangladesh.
