Md. Moslem Uddin

District Markets and Livelihoods Manager

Md. Moslem Uddin has been working with CLP since February 2008. Now he is working as District Markets and Livelihoods Manager at Pabna district under Markets and Livelihoods Unit. He has over twenty years work experience both managerial and technical positions in the development sector. Before joining the CLP, he worked in CARE-Bangladesh for eleven years as a Program Development Officer, Technical Officer (Marketing) and Program Officer under different Projects. He has also worked with Community Development Association (CDA) as a Project Coordinator for three years. He has sound knowledge and practical experience on rice and vegetable cultivation, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), homestead vegetable cultivation, vegetable seed production and preservation and Milk, Meat, Fodder, Poultry, Maize and Chili production and marketing activities. He has long experience on project planning & implementation, staff management and supervision, monitoring and evaluation, staff development, coordination with different GO and NGOs, administrative activities, budget preparation and work with Partner organizations.

Moslem obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Honours) degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh and MBA degree from a private university, Bangladesh.
